Terms of Use

Effective and last updated: July 18, 2026

Agreement and related policies

These Terms govern access to PlayWithPDF.in and its tools, guides, accounts, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer explain additional parts of the relationship.

The service

PlayWithPDF provides browser-side and server-assisted document utilities and educational content. Features, file compatibility, limits, processing mode, and availability may change. A tool page’s current operational disclosure forms part of the description of that workflow. No paid subscription or guaranteed service level is created merely by accessing a free tool.

Your documents and authority

You retain your rights in documents you select. You grant PlayWithPDF and its processing providers only the limited permission necessary to perform the requested server-assisted operation, secure the service, and deliver the result. You represent that you own the document or have permission to process it and that doing so does not violate confidentiality, privacy, copyright, contract, court order, or law.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • process unlawful, malicious, exploitative, or rights-infringing material;
  • remove security from a document without authorization;
  • attack, overload, scrape at harmful scale, probe, bypass limits, or interfere with the service;
  • distribute malware or misuse another person’s credentials or personal information;
  • misrepresent a modified document as authentic, legally valid, certified, or unchanged; or
  • use automated access in a manner that harms users, infrastructure, advertising integrity, or normal operation.

Accounts and contact submissions

Where accounts are available, you are responsible for accurate information, credential security, and activity under your account. Messages must not contain unnecessary sensitive documents, passwords, or unlawful content. We may restrict access reasonably necessary to address security, abuse, legal risk, or material violation of these Terms.

Outputs and backups

PDF transformations can change quality, links, bookmarks, forms, signatures, accessibility information, encryption, page labels, metadata, or compatibility. You must keep an original copy and inspect the result before submission, publication, signature, archiving, or deletion of the source. PlayWithPDF does not certify that an output satisfies a government portal, court, archive, employer, or other third party.

Site content and intellectual property

The PlayWithPDF name, interface, original guides, design, and site code are protected by applicable rights. You may link to public pages and quote brief portions with attribution where legally permitted. You may not copy substantial site content, impersonate the service, remove notices, or use protected material in a misleading way. Third-party libraries, marks, and linked resources remain subject to their respective rights and licences.

Advertising and external services

The site may display clearly distinguishable advertising and link to external services. Advertising does not constitute endorsement. External sites and processing providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. See the Privacy Policy for data-related disclosures.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, preservation of temporary browser downloads, compatibility with every PDF, or recovery of user documents. Save completed outputs promptly.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. The detailed limitations in our Disclaimer apply. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the service or requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. If you do not agree to an updated version, stop using the service. Questions may be sent to playwithpdf@gmail.com.
